Lou has been practicing yoga for over 10 years. She is mom to 2 beautiful children, Ezra and Evie, a wife, a yogi and a business woman too.

She first became a mom in 2004 and watched as her son began to mimick her yoga poses. The fun they had inspired her to train to teach the wonders of yoga to kids of all ages and abilities.

Lou completed the highly acclaimed YogaKids Teacher programme with over 310 hours of training.

The seed of Little Tree Yoga was born to provide a nurturing environment and creative classes for the whole family. Little Tree Yoga runs prenatal, mom and baby, kids, family and adult classes in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.

" I want to create an environment that will nurture the spirit in every child. One that will allow children the space to explore, develop their true characters in a fun and creative way, while affirming their worthiness. I want to enable children to gain abilities to help them achieve a healthy and happy mind, body and soul as well as a conscious heart, now and for the future."

Lou also now helps mom and dads bond with their babies through infant massage after discovering its wonders with her firstborn. Since the birth of her second child, Evie, her infant massage teaching has grown a life and a company of its own, called Nurture. You can find out more here.

Lou is a RYT having completed 200 hrs with Prana College of Yoga in Thailand and also studying with David Life and Sharon Gannon to become a 300hr Certified Jivamukti Teacher. Lou is also a Certified Infant Massage Instructor, prenatal and kids teacher having trained with Marsha Wenig and Janice Clarfield.

In July 2010 Lou joined forces with Robyn Land to become a partner at Yoga Spirit in Burnaby. They have a lot of exciting plans for the future. Check out
